Concept to Completion

From Concept to Completion, here are the steps.

In Showroom Consultation: Earliest stages of planning your renovation. You will be guided through the initial process of creating a budget and getting started on your journey. You will be able to view selections of products and styles we offer as well as visit with a designer. We are here to answer your questions and make you feel at home.

Schedule an In-Home Consultation & Measure: A designer from Splash will visit your home and talk about the specifics of your project. They will measure the area of the project as well as take some initial pictures for the designers to begin their concept drawings. We will be glad to provide a list of references from our previous projects- it might be one of your neighbors! At this visit, we will schedule a preliminary meeting in approximately two weeks.

Conceptual Design Study. After our initial meetings, our designers will take the design elements discussed and prepare a preliminary conceptual design study including:

  • Existing Floor Plan
  • Proposed Floor Plan
  • Presentation of Proposed Finishes
  • Review of Similar Space Plans for a Discussion of Your Budget

Design & Budget Preparation. After review of the above, we will enter into a Design Retainer Agreement to complete your design & budget for your project.

Sign Your Construction Contract to Schedule Installation. In our series of design meetings, we cover all the details of your project. All materials are specified up front to provide the exact cost of your project.

Pre-Construction Meeting. Once we have finalized our start date and have received the materials necessary to complete your project without delay we will schedule a meeting at your home to discuss construction conditions on or prior to the day of the start of your project.

Installation. Our installation crews typically work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We use both in-house (Team) and licensed and insured trades (Partners) that are experienced, knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful to your family and your property.

Job Well Done! We understand that it can be intrusive and stressful to have your daily routine disrupted, so we try to be gracious while we share your space.
